Blindfolded speedcubing

Table of Contents

A course on solving a cube blindfolded, written for someone who already speedsolves sighted and is heading for 4BLD. Notation, slices, wide moves and finger tricks are assumed; the lessons spend their budget on tracing and memorisation instead. Edges first, corners later, on the M2 method — the route that reaches a real blindfolded solve in days and skips parity entirely along the way.

Lessons

  1. The letters, and your first trace — turning a scrambled cube into a short string of letters.
  2. The M2 shot — setup, M2, undo: one idea covering sixteen of the twenty-two targets.
  3. The M slice, and your first blind solve — six stickers left, one rule to go with them, and then the blindfold goes on.
